Larry Orkin

Larry Orkin is a legendary raconteur, bon vivant and lover. He first rose to prominence as a child prodigy which was unusual given that he’s an adult.

He has written extensively for Vanity Fair, National Geographic and New Scientist…none of which were published. Mr Orkin’s latest opera is a sequel to Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaroentitled The Divorce and child support payments of Figaro. It is yet to be commissioned.

Mr. Orkin is a tireless advocate for the rights of those like himself who are colour deaf. “If someone’s eating an orange beside me, someday I hope to hear them” he vows.

Larry divides his time between Sydney and Lima where he serves as chairman of the Peruvian Duck Fighting League. He can be seen weeknights on the long running 585 bus — standing room only.
