David Evans

David Evans has been actively involved in the local Improvisation, performance and acting community since moving to Australia from Brooklyn, New York in 2013.

After studying for two consecutive years with The Improv Conspiracy in Melbourne, he was a member of the Harold team Foggy Windows performing weekly at the Dan O’Connell pub and worked as a Teacher for Level 2 students.

He was also a regular participant in Improv Planet’s weekly Improv Stand Up showcase doing fully improvised stand-up comedy based on the popular SETLIST format. In the summer of 2014 David also was a member and performer in Tim Miller’s Queering the Body performance workshop at Theatre Works St. Kilda. There he wrote, directed and performed I Want To Hold Your Hand.

His Australian TV credits include appearances on: Neighbours, Offspring, House Husbands and the ABC2 series The Worst Year of My Life, Again.
