Improv Classes for Kids at LMA

Children's Improv Classes and School Holiday Camp Programs

We’re about to begin offering a series of Demo Days for young people who want to give LMA improv a try.

Later in the year, we’ll roll out School Holiday workshops and 10-week school term classes.

The currently planned age brackets are 8-12 and 13-17.

If this sounds interesting to you, then get on our waitlist.

How children think about the world starts with how they think about themselves.

In this fast paced, device driven world we live in, wouldn’t it be amazing to find a place where your child could learn to better interact and communicate with others?

Or become a better listener? Become more creative, playful, and spontaneous?

All while gaining self confidence and enjoying the freedom of  positive self expression?

Guess what – you found it.

We don't have any photos from our children's programs yet, but here is a photo of our Founder, Eran Thomson, with his godson, Miles, who will definitely be starting at LMA in 2024.

The future is not only in their hands. It's in their minds.

We'll help your young ones develop:

  • Confidence and self acceptance
  • Social skills
  • Listening skills
  • Creativity
  • Focus and concentration

And improve their ability to:

  • Adapt to changing circumstances
  • Be more aware of self, inner voice and emotions
  • Overcome fear of failure and being judged
  • Trust their instincts
  • Be open to other’s ideas and support them

Plus it's heaps of fun!

  • Games
  • Theatre exercises
  • Storytelling
  • Characters and role playing
  • And more!

They take the class, but you both benefit.

Parents who use improv techniques with their own children have noticed an improved relationship not only with their kids, but also with their partners.

How is this possible?

Partly because when children implement the learnings of improv into their daily routine, parenting requires less work, less negotiation, less angst and so, becomes less draining.

This in turn reduces stress on parents which in turn makes everyone happier.

See for yourself, enrol your child in one of our holiday workshops for kids or 10-week school term classes today.

The stars of tomorrow play at LMA today.

All our classes for Young People are filled with learning moments and tangible takeaways, but it’s not like any “school” they’ve ever been to.

The exercises and theatre games are playful, inclusive, and most of all, fun.

Every class is a chance for self expression, storytelling, and spontaneity.

Improved confidence, performance skills, and a strong funny bone are merely byproducts of teaching that will give your children important tools to become successful, pleasant, and happier humans.

Let us tell you about upcoming classes, Early Bird rego, special discounts and more.
