I highly recommend improv classes to people all that time. Not only because I am annoying, but also because I know that the benefits are immeasurable. The teachers at LMA have been dedicated, hard working and brilliantly hilarious. There is not a single class that I have had at LMA that wasn't as rewarding as it was fun. If you think you're funny, creative, or enjoy working in teams, improv will push you further than you could imagine. Not only that, the LMA community is excellent, and totally supportive of everyone, no matter what their skill level, or previous experience. LMA has opened up a new world to me that brings me immense joy in every week. As well as improving communication skills and confidence, I have been introduced to an amazing group of people with whom I can enjoy being creative and silly. Improv provides a great experience for anyone, and LMA knows how to do it. I tried it out on a free second Saturday (see their page for info), and had to take a lesson. I'm planning to take more.read more

Improv is for everybody. This mantra holds so much truth. The staff at LMA facilitate an environment where you feel safe and a bond is created with your teachers and classmates that allows each individual to thrive without fear. Improv was new to me and the prospect of having to make up stuff on stage was (and still is) terrifying. But the LMA team provided all the support and encouragement to surrender to the improv gods and have fun in the process. It helped to have great teachers from Chicago through Level 1 and 2, which had the right amount of fun and fear. And I've just signed up for more in Level 3. Keep up the good work guys!read more

Laugh-Masters Academy is the best in the country for IMPROV classes. All of the levels are very neatly designed for a beginner in IMPROV to advance through the concepts of IMPROV. LMA provides the best trainers which included the best like Ryan Karels from UCB. The class rooms for all of the levels are great for IMPROV learning. The grad shows are simply amazing where in you get a proper showman feeling at the end of the show. To sum it up LMA is brand that gives the best IMPROV in the country.
