Special Guest Teacher: Elliot Stevenson

UPDATE: Elliot is having so much fun down under he’s decided to stick around for another term! We are thrilled to announce that he will be teaching again at LMA in 2017.

My favorite thing about teaching improv is that I get to see people gathered in a room together for the sole purpose of having fun. For the last two months, I’ve been doing that at Laugh Master’s Academy in Sydney and have had the pleasure of meeting new people from all over the world. I’m thrilled that I’ve been given the chance to teach another term of classes at LMA and will get to see more people in a room together having fun, being goofy and growing into amazing improvisers and people.

LMA is super excited to announce a Special Guest Instructor for Term 4, Captain Jiggy Fly himself, Mr. Elliot Stevenson.

Elliot has been writing, performing and producing comedy since he left behind his illustrious career as an intern architect a number of years ago. He has studied the art of improv and acting at the Second City Training Center in Chicago, IL, as well as improv and sketch writing at the Brave New Workshop Student Union in Minneapolis, MN. He currently performs at various locations around the Minneapolis area including Huge Theater and Phoenix Theater and teaches improv at the Brave New Workshop Student Union. When not performing or teaching you can find Elliot at home catching up on Netflix and deciding which combination of red shoes and plaid shirt looks best.

Elliot will be teaching Improv Level 3, along with a few other special workshops TBA, at Laugh-Masters Academy this upcoming Term 4, 2016.
