Recently LMA had a chance to catch up with Ryan Booker from ICON Actor Management in Brisbane.
ICON is a unique management agency whose aim is to engage, develop and support top level and high potential Actors in their careers and help them to be better prepared for auditioning and on set scene delivery, as well as ensure they are ready for the opportunities we source.
One of the things they encourage all the talent on their roster to do is take improv training.
In our experience, Actors that have great success in auditioning and ultimately landing roles, are particularly talented at adjusting upon direction and clever at utilising improv skills to add a new dynamic to the script delivery and change it up. Put another way they celebrate their uniqueness and own it.
