Michael Bay Needs to Work on his Improv Skills

In case you missed it, superstar film director, Michael Bay, choked big time whilst on stage touting Samsung TV’s at CES.

This is a classic situation where having even the tiniest amount of Improv Training would have saved his arse. Instead he came off looking incompetent, as he said himself on his blog:

Wow! I just embarrassed myself at CES – I was about to speak for Samsung for this awesome Curved 105-inch UHD TV. I rarely lend my name to any products, but this one is just stellar. I got so excited to talk, that I skipped over the Exec VP’s intro line and then the teleprompter got lost. Then the prompter went up and down – then I walked off. I guess live shows aren’t my thing.

You can see his meltdown here on USA Today. It was supposed to be a presentation starring the esteemed Hollywood film director promoting Samsung’s line of curved television sets. But the appearance turned awkward after a teleprompter snafu resulted in Bay abruptly leaving the stage.
