LMA offers four 8-Week Terms a year with Grad Shows usually falling within 2 weeks of classes ending:

Term 1: Mon 29 Jan – Sat 24 Mar
Term 2: Mon 23 Apr – Mon 18 Jun
Term 3: Sat 14 Jul – Mon 10 Sep
Term 4: Sat 6 Oct – Tues 27 Nov
Summer Session: January

Curriculum

LMA’s unique 2-Path Curriculum (Long Form Chicago Style Improv and Sketch Comedy) is evolving to include Stand-Up Comedy, Clown, Storytelling and more.

Really enjoyed the class. The instructors, Vic and Madi, were excellent, explaining theory in a clear concise way. 8 weeks of fun, with some really great people. Looking forward to more.

I highly recommend improv classes to people all that time. Not only because I am annoying, but also because I know that the benefits are immeasurable. The teachers at LMA have been dedicated, hard working and brilliantly hilarious. There is not a single class that I have had at LMA that wasn't as rewarding as it was fun. If you think you're funny, creative, or enjoy working in teams, improv will push you further than you could imagine. Not only that, the LMA community is excellent, and totally supportive of everyone, no matter what their skill level, or previous experience. To conclude, I say, go to LMA, its really, really really good.

LMA has opened up a new world to me that brings me immense joy in every week. As well as improving communication skills and confidence, I have been introduced to an amazing group of people with whom I can enjoy being creative and silly. It has allowed me to let go of being in control or feel bad about making mistakes. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!!

Improv provides a great experience for anyone, and LMA knows how to do it. I tried it out on a free second Saturday (see their page for info), and had to take a lesson. I'm planning to take more.

Improv is for everybody. This mantra holds so much truth. The staff at LMA facilitate an environment where you feel safe and a bond is created with your teachers and classmates that allows each individual to thrive without fear. I have been an actor and a musician for the majority of my life and embarking on my improv journey with LMA was easily one of the best decisions I have made for my career. I feel more open with people in general, more willing to make bold choices and get out of my head and most importantly, I’m having a heck of a lot of fun!Thanks LMA. You all rock!! 😁🤘

Improv was new to me and the prospect of having to make up stuff on stage was (and still is) terrifying. But the LMA team provided all the support and encouragement to surrender to the improv gods and have fun in the process. It helped to have great teachers from Chicago through Level 1 and 2, which had the right amount of fun and fear. And I've just signed up for more in Level 3. Keep up the good work guys!

Laugh-Masters Academy is the best in the country for IMPROV classes. All of the levels are very neatly designed for a beginner in IMPROV to advance through the concepts of IMPROV. LMA provides the best trainers which included the best like Ryan Karels from UCB. The class rooms for all of the levels are great for IMPROV learning. The grad shows are simply amazing where in you get a proper showman feeling at the end of the show. To sum it up LMA is brand that gives the best IMPROV in the country. Don't think twice , book the classes with LMA if you are interested in IMPROV.

I love the way LMA is run with such an intense passion for improv and life by ex pat American by Eran Thomson. The course structure and passionate teachers I can highly recommend. It's a truly inclusive and supportive school. I feel I've grown as a person and I look forward to continuing my study with LMA!
